2010 Annual Conference of the Historical Metallurgy Society will be on Accidental and Experimental Archaeometallurgy

K Conference 2-3 September 2010:
The 2010 Annual Conference of the Historical Metallurgy Society will be on Accidental and Experimental Archaeometallurgy.

It is intended that the conference will incorporate archaeometallurgical experiments as well as lectures on experimental archaeometallurgy. If you are interested in conducting an archaeometallurgical experiment and/or delivering a lecture please contact the conference organisers (see below).

The conference will be held over two days (2nd and 3rd September) at West Dean College, which is near Chichester in West Sussex. The lectures will be held in the College and the experiments will take place on adjacent college land. Overnight accommodation will be available at the college.
